Zoo New England and Camp Fire USA have been offering a day camp at the Franklin Park Zoo for over 15 years. Participants experience a unique environmental education camp that allows them to explore the natural world of animals and their habitats.
ZooCamp is an educational and fun-filled journey that includes arts and crafts, nature games and activities, and the study of Zoo animals.
During week-long sessions, children ages 6-11 can learn all about the wild world of animals. Each weekly session will feature a different theme allowing children to explore being nature detectives, conservation heroes, zoo explorers, and more!
For children ages 12-13, there is the Junior Zookeeper program offering behind-the-scenes opportunities with animal care staff. Early-bird registration is currently open for all sessions.

All activities are tied to public school learning standards, so children get a jump start on classes for the fall!
