The Coastal Ocean Science Academy is a marine science summer day program in which middle and high school students learn to study coastal habitats.
For over a decade, the Coastal Ocean Science Academy (COSA) has provided a hands-on, place-based STEM education experience at the Marine Science Center in Nahant, connecting youth to local coastal habitats and the factors that shape them.
This day program is based at the NUMSC's campus in Nahant, and includes visits to coastal habitats around the North Shore.
Our 2021 programs will be August 9-13 (Middle School) and August 16-20 (High School) at the Marine Science Center – registration is open now and only a few spots are left each week!
