The Coastal Ocean Science Academy is a marine science summer day program in which middle and high school students learn to study coastal habitats.
The program is based at Northeastern University's Marine Science Center in Nahant, including off-site field trips to coastal field locations. Scholarships and transportation are available.
COSA provides students with the unique opportunity to perform hands-on experiments in the field and learn what it means to be a marine scientist through the exploration of a variety of habitats.
2017 Dates:
Middle School: July 17-21
High School: August 14-25
