Since the start of the market 30 years ago, it has generated $4 Million in the local economy for local and regional vendors as well as Roslindale businesses.
The RVMS Farmers Market is also a food access point for all. The market will continue to have Summer Eats Meals sponsored by Project Bread and the YMCA, which offers free meals to young people under 18.
In addition, the market will continue to serve SNAP/EBT and farmers market coupon recipients while supporting the Roslindale Community Fridge.
This year, Adams Park and the Birch St Plaza will be filled with new vendors and free programming, including wellness activities, live performances, and engaging children’s activities.
The market will be open from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm every Saturday, rain or shine, through November 19th at Adams Park and Birch St Plaza. As in years past, free parking will be available at the lower Roslindale Village Commuter Rail lot and the municipal lot off South Street.
We encourage everyone to join us and, if possible, walk, bike, and use public transportation when traveling to the market.
