revels riversing two dragons dancing photoAt sunset of the autumnal equinox on September 28th, when daytime and nighttime are equal, Revels celebrates Revels RiverSing – Two Dragons Dancing.

This year we return to the banks of the Charles River in Cambridge where NIGEL the NIGHT DRAGON and DESMOND the DAY DRAGON will meet on the footbridge over the river to lead everybody over the bridge in the Equinox Waltz.

David Coffin will lead the singing in this family-friendly event, alongside performances by incredible musicians, Morris dance teams, activist street bands, and choirs.

We might even see a spectacular sunset over the river! Raise your voices, get on your feet, and join us in celebrating the changing seasons.

Festivities will commence by the John W. Weeks Footbridge in Harvard Square beginning at 5:00 PM.
