Flip logs, sift through leaf litter, and explore life underfoot in search of insects and other terrestrial invertebrates.Participants will observe insects, worms, spiders, and other “creepy crawlies” while learning about their unique adaptations, life cycles, and the essential roles they play as consumers and decomposers in our ecosystem.
Expect hands-on exploration, trailside discoveries, and plenty of muddy fun!
Please note, this program is held entirely outdoors.
Participants should dress for the weather.
