Embark on an interactive outdoor adventure through the rich coastal ecosystems of the North Shore!The North Shore Explorers family nature series invites children and parents to discover tide pools, salt marshes, maritime forests, and coastal beaches alongside Mass Audubon naturalists.
Over the course of four hands-on outdoor field sessions, participating families explore unique habitats surrounding Plum Island and the Parker River estuary.
Learn how local wildlife adapts to coastal environments, practice using scientific field tools, spot seasonal migrating birds, and collect field observations together as a family.
