Patriot Place will host its fourth annual Oktoberfest Celebration this Saturday, Sept. 20 from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m., featuring a day full of German traditions, activities, games, live music and fun for the whole family.The festivities will include a stein holding competition, stein racing, trivia hosted at Wormtown Brewery, themed photo opportunities and a wide array of family-friendly activities and crafts.
Take part in German traditions at the Patriot Place Oktoberfest Celebration presented by Wormtown Brewery on Saturday, September 20 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The fun consists of live music, traditional German activities & games, family fun and much more! This event is free and open to the public.
Traditional Music & Dancing:
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM: The Oom Pa Pas perform at Wormtown Brewery
2:30 PM – 3:30 PM: The Alpenblumen Schuhplattler Group perform on the Dean College Stage
4:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Live music by No Rulz on the Dean College Stage

Contestants stand 8 feet apart from their partner
One contestant holds a stick and one tosses a pretzel
Toss the pretzel onto your partner’s stick
Last team to be tossing without dropping the pretzel wins
- Beer Stein Holding Competition
Last person with his or her arm raised strong WINS!

Grab a stein, stretch that arm, and face off in epic one-on-one showdowns!

Guests will also have the opportunity to check-in via the Patriot Place Advantage App to enter a variety of giveaways throughout the course of the festivities.
Oktoberfest will take place in the North Marketplace with Wormtown Brewery as the hub of the festivities. The celebration will take place rain or shine, with some locations subject to change in the event of rain.
