Come fly a kite at Cogswell's Grant!Bring your own kite or build one when you arrive, and watch professional kite flyers from Kites Over New England.
Blue Hill Observatory and Science Center will hold a limited number of kite-making workshops, with all materials included, where kids and adults can build their own kites and learn how to fly them.
FREE for flyers and spectators; $10 for kite-making workshop.
Advance purchase of workshop tickets is highly recommended.

Accessibility Considerations: This is an outdoor event held in the hayfields at Cogswell's Grant, so the ground can be uneven.
Parking for the event is located immediately adjacent to the kite flying areas, so those with limited accessibility should have no trouble watching and can participate as they are able.
Kite-making workshops are held in the Salt Hay Barn, which is accessible at ground level.
