kahuna laguna at the red jacket mountain view resort photoSurf's up at Kahuna Laguna! Dive into a tropical adventure with the entire family at Kahuna Laguna, northern New England’s first indoor water park at the Red Jacket Mountain View Resort & Spa in North Conway, NH. It’s 40,000 square feet of splash-tacular fun!

With an indoor temp of 82 degrees, it's always balmy at Kahuna Laguna.

Zoom through one of four high-speed tubes before splashing into the landing pool below. Body surf in the giant wave pool; or square off against your friends in an exciting game of water basketballl. Watch out for the 70-gallon tipping bucket!

The whole family will enjoy the activity pool, water cannons and play tower, and your smallest kahunas will have a great time in the shallow pool, an area designed with them in mind. The Tiki Tide Café is ready with a snack or lunch when you need a break. And, the family fun center is the place for the latest arcade games.

You must be 48” tall to ride the two body slides. If you are between 42” and 48” tall, you may ride the red and yellow raft slides with someone over 48” tall, on a double tube with a life jacket on.

The Little Kahuna Kids' Play Area features a slide, water toys, baby bouncer and lemon drop fountains and is great for those under 48' tall. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and no more than 4 children may be under the supervision of 1 adult.

4-starLots Of Fun
We were there for the Forth of July and had a great time! Kahuna Laguna is just the right size to let my 8 and 7 year olds splash where they like yet still be able to keep track of them. Teens might get a little bored, but the four slides, wave pool, water splash play area, etc. kept my kids busy for hours. Also, the outdoor pool is just outside the locker rooms of the water park and you can go back and forth. The only thing I didn't like was that children were allowed in the hot tub. Kids have run of the rest of the area, leave the hot tub for the grown ups, it's not a swimming pool! We only ate at one of the resort's restaurants (breakfast buffet) and it's was worth adding it to our package deal. We ate all our other meals at a few of the many dining establishments in the North Conway area. As for our room, we didn't spend much time there except for sleeping but it was comfortable, quiet and clean.
5-starGreat waterpark spotty info
The Red Jacket's new indoor waterpark is really fun, and worth the trip to North Conway. My daughter had the best time, especially in the wave pool -- just like being at the beach. There were tons of lockers (unlike Coco Key). The rooms were nice & comfy, but I was a miffed about food. Reservations said there were four eateries -- there are not. At breakfast the ONLY option is the pricey (though delicious) buffet. The snack bar wasn't open for lunch (so I paid for another sit-down meal) because staff didn't show up! The nice front desk staff didn't know they weren't open. Also didn't know that after check-out, you can't return to the water park. (You can at two other major resorts I've visited.) They just need to striaghten out communication -- otherwise, a great destination.
