Highland Street Foundation is pleased to partner with the following organizations to provide free activities and things to do during February school vacation week. In 2025, we are excited to offer a wide range of activities across Massachusetts, including zoos, ice skating, snowshoeing, stadium tours, and more.
Our annual Children’s Winter Festival returns to the Boston Common on Wednesday February 19, and we hope our program provides access and opportunity for all!
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 17
• Jack Kirrane Ice Rink: Free Skating and Rentals

• deCordova Sculpture Park: Free Admission

*Special program*: Maker Space Session for Little Artists and Junior Creators –
Investigate ideas and unique materials inspired by themes and artists on view in the
Sculpture Park. Find your own approach or collaborate to construct creative works of
art. Join us for a short time or the entire drop-in window. For any age and an
accompanying adult - all are welcome.

• New Bedford Whaling Museum: Free Admission
