sowa winter festival  holiday market 2024 photoBy popular demand, the 9th Annual SoWa Winter Festival, New England’s largest indoor holiday marketplace, held in the iconic SoWa Power Station, will now be open 7 days a week for 2024.

Opening on Friday, November 29th and running through Sunday, December 22nd, the SoWa Winter Festival is a low-cost, family-friendly and accessible indoor holiday marketplace in the heart of the South End.

New and returning offerings for 2024 include over 100 artists, craftspeople, food purveyors, specialty holiday beverage makers, live entertainment, maker workshops, a holiday lounge, photo opportunities and the return of the SoWa Winter Food Truck Village, plus abundant on-site parking.

Holiday shoppers will find a wide array of unique items including art, crafts, accessories, new and vintage apparel, handmade and fashion jewelry, home decor, gourmet goods, holiday gifts and decorations from over 100 small businesses.

Shop local, eat, drink, and be merry and bright.

Extend your Visit: The SoWa Winter Festival Holiday Neighborhood
Step outside the SoWa Winter Festival to the SoWa Winter Wonderland Food Truck Village with abundant outdoor seating and foods from around the world offered by Boston’s most sought-after food trucks.

Continue your visit through the neighborhood on bedecked Thayer Street, home to the SoWa Art + Design District, the largest concentration of artists, galleries, design showrooms, and retail shops in New England.

Also adjacent to the festival is a wide array of restaurants with highlights including Marseille’s French and Mediterranean cuisine featuring a warm and inviting bar; PRB Boulangerie, for eat-in or grab- and-go French favorites including specialty coffees, teas, croissants, baguettes, quiches, sandwiches, salads, and snacks and Burro Bar, the neighborhood’s go-to Mexican restaurant and tequila bar.

SoWa is the area South of Washington Street in the South End of Boston

Address: 550 Harrison Avenue in Boston’s South End.

Closest T stations: Orange Line/Tufts Medical Center or Red Line/Broadway

Admission: $10 per person, cash, credit cards and Apple Pay

Parking: $10, cash only, at all 540 Harrison Ave., 500 Harrison Ave., 365 Albany St., 274 Albany St., and 324 Albany St. lots.

Browse the main floor and enjoy delicious food and drinks, and be sure to venture to the 2nd floor for live music and specialty cocktails designed by some of Boston’s top bartenders!

The fun continues just a 3 minute walk away! Fridays through Sundays, exit the Power Station and head to Harrison Avenue.

Take a right, pass Randolph Street, and enjoy a variety of food and beverage trucks, cozy up to a firepit, and explore the open artist studios in the Art + Design District on Thayer Street.
The SoWa Winter Festival is family friendly and free to attend.
