Join us for this spooktacular celebration, where wild creatures and Halloween fun come together!

Wander through our animal habitats and collect terrifyingly tasty treats on our trick-or-treat trail, and get creative at our arts and craft stations.

The wildly popular “Boo at the Zoo” celebration at Stone Zoo offers several unique activities including a costume contest, arts and crafts stations, DJ and music, and photo ops with our costumed characters at the front entrance.

Don’t forget to stop by the Canopy Courtyard on Sunday, Oct. 20 for special storytelling sessions with local puppeteer, Big Joe the Storyteller!

This event is included with general Zoo admission. Event takes place rain or shine.

Keep an eye out—some of our animals might be getting into the spirit too! And don't forget to show off your Halloween style in our kids' costume contest!

Be sure to bring your own treat bags!

Thrills, chills, and animals lurk around every corner on the trick-or-treat trail, while other haunted happenings include mystery animal encounters, costume contests and a scavenger hunt with prizes!

As you explore the Zoo, be sure to meet with Zoo educators to learn about creepy crawly critters, as well as about the importance of purchasing treats made with sustainable palm oil this Halloween.
