Camp Sunshine is excited to continue celebrating our annual Pumpkin Festival this October, which has been a fall tradition since 2003.The Camp Sunshine Pumpkin Festival will once again set L.L.Bean’s Flagship Campus aglow with thousands of lit jack-o-lanterns on Saturday, October 19, 2024.
All funds raised support Camp Sunshine. In 2024, In 2024, Camp Sunshine is celebrating 40 years of providing hope, joy and community through unique experiences for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Since 1984, more than 60,000 ill children, siblings, parents, and caregivers from all 50 states and 27 countries have come to Camp Sunshine.
Festival attendees can expect a day filled with live music and entertainment, a kids’ costume parade, tasty treats and “gourd-eous” displays of lit jack-o-lanterns in the evening.
Event Schedule
12pm - Festival Begins: Music, Food, Kids’ Activities, Free Pumpkins to Take Home, and Lots of Lit Jack-o-Lanterns!
3pm - Children’s Costume Parade
4:30pm/Dusk - Lighting of All Pumpkins
5pm - Children’s Activities Close
8pm - Festival Concludes
