This family friendly stroll through the park is our largest fundraiser of the year—grab your costumes and join us for some spooky, Halloween fun!
It’s time once again for Theater in the Open’s annual Haunted Trail at Maudslay State Park.
Join a cast of all ages for a one-hour walk through eerie vignettes, spooky sketches and haunting scenes, all in the autumn grandeur of Maudslay State Park.
This all-ages, family event is a one-hour walk through eerie vignettes, spooky sketches and haunting scenes. Admission is $10, additional donations in any amount are appreciated, and children 4 and under are free. We also have warm cider, donuts and other treats for sale.
Allow for a brief walk from the parking lot and follow the Frankenstein signs. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
This is a unique tradition that is not be missed. It also is one of Theater in the Open’s biggest annual fundraisers, helping to support free theater in Maudslay State Park all summer long.
Allow ten minutes to stroll to the site and $5 for parking ($20 for out of state vehicles).
Maudslay is Haunted is a family event intended for all ages.

From our home in Maudslay State Park, we have been committed to delivering exciting and inventive theater that is truly open and inclusive, and to furthering children’s education in the arts.

Maudslay State Park is located in north-eastern Massachusetts, on the North Shore.
From North and South: Take Rte. 95, exit 57 to Rte. 113 east. Follow 113 east for half a mile and turn left on Noble St. At stop sign turn left onto Ferry Rd., bear left at fork and follow signs.
From West: Take I-495 exit 55 to Rte. 110 east. At third light take right onto Merrill Street. Continue on Merrill St./Spofford St. for 1.5 miles. Turn right before stop sign onto Ferry Rd., follow signs.
