Winter in Boston can be cold and challenging, but Igloo dining might just be the next adventure for you.
Several restaurant venues now offer this unique experience for groups up to six - which is a good thing so you can bundle up together and split the bill.
The Gather Igloos - Seaport District, Boston
Enjoy outdoor dining without the freezing temps during our winter hours of operation. The igloos can accommodate groups of six or less. Reservations are strongly encouraged during the available time slots, and may require a sales minimum.

The Lookout Rooftop Igloos at The Envoy Hotel - Seaport District, Boston
The illuminated igloos at the Lookout Rooftop are something of a yearly tradition in the city. New this season, though, is your chance to thaw out in the “Ice Boxes”: six heated mini-lounges, enclosed by plexiglass, where up to six guests can enjoy the city skyline while dining on small plates from two-time Chopped champ, chef Tatiana Rosana.

The Anchor Boston - Charlestown
The Anchor's popular igloos are back for the winter season and better than ever! These fully furnished igloos are a great way to get out of the cold with a group of up to 10 of your friends for about 2 hours. A minimum food & beverage purchase must be met for igloo dining. Woods Hill Pier 4 Igloos - Boston ($$$)
Woods Hill Pier 4 invites you to soak up the sea views without the wind chill in one of 12 translucent, heated igloos dotting a sprawling patio that overlooks Boston Harbor.
Each igloo seats as many as six guests (the structures are sanitized between parties) and can be reserved for up to two-and-a-half hours. Just come hungry, as there’s a food and beverage minimum of $450. If you can swing it, it’s an indulgence you deserve right now, so grab 5 of your friends or family and split the bill.

Chill over The Charles - Cambridge
Set on the 16th floor of the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Boston-Cambridge, enjoy a laid-back atmosphere while taking in stunning views of the scenic Charles River and Boston city skyline at this outdoor rooftop igloo bar in Boston. Reserve a spot. OPEN: Thursday thru Saturday 5:30PM to 10:00PM
The Dudley Chateau - Wayland
Beginning Tuesday January 26th the Chât will reopen for limited indoor and outdoor dining along with takeout.
Igloos will be reservation only. Reservations will be 90 minute slots, there is a $20 sanitizing fee, igloos have 2 windows, they will be heated with space heaters and have tables for 4.

INNGloo at Hastings Park - Lexington
The INNgloo Wonderland features four cozy igloos, designed to each seat up to six for a warming lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, or private event among twinkle lights. Each igloo features a charming faux-fireplace heater and mini speaker for mood-setting background music.

Après Ski Pop-up Lodge at Publico Boston
A one of a kind winter oasis, guests are greeted by a rustic lodge structure as Publico’s signature garden pergola has been built out to feature wooden, cabin-like walls, faux moose and deer heads, twinkle lights and pine garland that surround two communal stype dining tables tucked inside.
“Lodge life” is further illustrated throughout the space by oversized flannel blankets and pillows, carved wooden signage, decorative skis, retro signage and a vintage ski lift that create a true alpine ambiance in the middle of south Boston. Learn More
