On the first and third Mondays of each month, bring your toddler to enjoy story time and looking activities in the galleries, followed by art making.

Gallery 6 at the Children's Museum presents the 'What Is Home?' exhibit featuring the works of 24 artists. What is the difference between a place you happen to live and a place you think of as home? Is it based on history or relationships? How do other creatures define their homes?

The show features a series of paper bas reliefs celebrating the course of the Merrimack River from Franklin, New Hampshire to the sea at Newburyport. Many of the works reflect the terrain around Lowell, showing the eons-long story of the planet in a new way.

Photographer John Benford will be exhibiting his series, Grounding: Small New England Farms, at the Farm Art Gallery at Natick Community Organic Farm, 117 Eliot Street, Natick, MA. The exhibit will run throughout February and March, 2012, with an opening reception on Saturday, February 4, from 4-7 pm.
